Restaurants in Bangalore

In this section I would share the experience of few restaurants.

Cafe Masala

There is no words to describe about this fabulous place. It is located @ the heart of he city, 5th floor Eva mall near brigade road. This is famous for buffet. A buffet is 550 including tax which is worth every single rupee. The buffet consists of more than 60 varieties and you dont have potential to eat so much. The starters are served on to the table and the rest are to be self served. Starters are barbecue so that you can feel a different aroma. Desserts were mind blowing but there was some yogurt, please dont taste it. Few salads were not good as it was healthy ;-)., for instance there was some baby corn salad that was fried in olive oil so it was not good.  Nothing more to describe apart from saying its 'quite' expensive..

The Silver Metro

This is yet another multi cuisine restaurant located @ Total mall, Silk board. The ambiance is really good. This has a false arrangement of a train compartments on either sides with restaurant in between. The buffet is good with nearly 40 varieties. Here everything is self serving. A meal is around 280 including tax. The course would start from 3 varieties of chats, 5 salads, 2 soups, momo, with the main courses & desserts. A complete satisfactory meal that one can have in silver metro.

Umerkot

Umerkot is located in the central part of Koramangala. Ambiance is good & homely. Buffet is around 350Rs. Starters are really good. Main courses, breads and curry was ok but biriyani was bad. It was very spicy and not as expected. In short the meal was totally worth only for Starters.

A few Chinese restuarants - 食品 

• Chungs

Chinese restaurants are good for non veggies as per I know. Because I could feel the fishy smell even in the veggie recipe. My first experience in Chinese was in Chungs - jayanagar. I didnt knew about the quantity that they give so ordered lots & wasted lots. Service is bad.

• Beijing Bites

BB is yet another famous Chinese joint that has more than 15 branches in Bangalore. The best ever recipe in BB is American Chop Sue. Please do try this in BB, its mouth watering & some Shanghai fried rice too. As i told earlier the fishy smell is more that i found in BB. But it was fine for me being a non veggie ;-). Service is good.

• Chung Wa

Chung Wa is again a famous and many branched out Chinese outlet in Bangalore. Crispy Chilly Potato is good recipe out here. And one common suggestion in all restaurants, please don't go with soups until you are used to it. Service is quite delayed.

• Wangs 

Wangs is the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to. This is located near Bangalore Central, jayanagar. Best I mean in all aspects. Service is really good. The normal water what they server out here is water soaked in Pudina. Best for treats as it is economical compared to other restaurants. Try crispy veggie and honey Chilly potato out there, its just awesome. Varieties are less as compared to other Chinese.
